Get up to 3 months of Apple TV+ on us on selected tariffs and product purchases (the “Offer”) – Full Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern this Offer. Participation and redemption instructions form part of the Terms which you will be deemed to have accepted if you participate. Please read the following Terms carefully and keep a copy for your information.
Apple TV+ Subscription
Existing Customers who make a Qualifying Purchase (see clause 9) (a “Participant”) can claim up to 3 months Apple TV+ (a “Subscription”) provided by O2. The Subscription is subject to acceptance of additional terms and eligibility criteria, as applicable to the Subscription. To activate your Subscription, you will have to sign up for an account with Apple and agree to their terms and conditions of use.
The duration of the Subscription will be as set out in these Terms or as otherwise communicated to you (“Subscription Period”). Your Subscription Period will commence on the date you redeem your Subscription.
One Subscription per Qualifying Purchase. Participants must redeem the Subscription within 15 months from 11th August 2022. Customers cannot benefit from more than one Subscription per Apple account.
The Subscription is subject to availability at the point of redemption, whilst stocks last. O2 provides no guarantee that a Subscription will remain available throughout the Subscription Period. O2 reserves the right to amend this Offer at any time which may include the substitution of the Subscription for a suitable alternative.
Tariff eligibility criteria may apply which includes, but is not limited to, being a UK resident and being over 18.
Any purchases made within Apple applications are with Apple directly with and not chargeable via your O2 account.
You will be automatically enrolled on to a paid monthly Apple TV+ subscription directly with Apple following the end of the Subscription Period, which you can opt-out of at any time by contacting Apple.
Eligibility & Participation
To participate you must:
make a Qualifying Purchase (see clause 9); and
be a recipient of a communication from O2 inviting you to redeem the Subscription.
A “Qualifying Purchase” is the purchase of an Eligible Tariff or an Eligible Product directly from O2 stores (including franchise stores), online at o2.co.uk, through our O2 Telesales made between the offer dates set out in marketing communications or as communicated to you, or, in the absence of specified dates, the time period in which O2 makes the Offer available (“Offer Period”).
Subject to clauses 11 and 12, “Eligible Tariffs” include selected tariffs that are marketed as including a Subscription at the point of purchase and “Eligible Products” are selected sim free products purchased on a loan agreement with O2 and the corresponding Subscription Period.
In respect of Eligible Tariffs or Eligible Products, O2 may, at its sole discretion, identify which products or tariffs are eligible or no longer eligible for this Offer or amend the applicable Subscription Period associated with an Eligible Tariff or Eligible Product. Any changes or removals of a Subscription from an Eligible Tariff or Eligible Product will not affect customers who have already purchased and successfully activated a Subscription. O2 shall identify Eligible Tariffs or Eligible Products in selected promotional material. Products or tariffs may only be eligible for this Offer at certain times, so please check marketing material or ask your sales advisor for more information.
Pay Monthly Standard Tariffs, Pay Monthly Apple Watch and 30 day Sim Only tariffs are explicitly excluded from this Offer.
Purchases made through a third party distributor other than nominated indirect channels are excluded and do not qualify for this Offer.
Subscription to and use of Apple TV+ requires compliance with and acceptance of Apple terms and conditions, a compatible device, internet access, and certain software, and may require obtaining updates or upgrades from time to time. Because use of the services involves hardware, software, and internet access, your ability to use the services may be affected by the performance of these factors. You agree that such requirements are your responsibility.
How to Claim
For Qualifying Purchases of an Eligible Tariff or an Eligible Product, you must provide your mobile number during the order checkout unless you’re an existing customer purchasing an eligible tariff where we already have it. Following the Qualifying Purchase we will send you an SMS with details on how to claim your Redemption Code and how to access Apple’s website for the purpose of redeeming the Subscription. This may require you access the Priority app and register an account (if you do not already have one).
Redemption Code terms and conditions will apply. If your Redemption Code is valid, you will be prompted to create an account with Apple and accept their terms and conditions for use of Apple TV+.
If you are a recipient of a communication from O2 inviting you to benefit from a Subscription, you must follow O2’s instructi ons within the prescribed time frames to redeem the Subscription. If your Redemption Code is valid, you will be prompted to create an account with Apple.
Other important terms
A Qualifying Purchase will be subject to its own terms and conditions and eligibility criteria. Participants should familiarise themselves with these before participating in this Offer.
No applications from organised groups, third parties, agents, macros or other automated means, will be allowed. Incomplete applications or applications that are not in accordance with these Terms or the application instructions will be rejected.
Entitlement to the Subscription is personal to the Participant and cannot be transferred. The Subscription cannot be exchanged for cash or used to offset the price of any other service O2 or Apple is offering.
Responsibility is not accepted for applications damaged, lost, or delayed as a result of any computer hardware, network or software failure of any kind. Loss of Redemption Code may result in the Participant being unable to claim the offer and/or redeem the Subscription.
Participants should retain a copy of their receipt as proof of purchase.
O2 reserves the right to remove promotional material from circulation, amend these Terms or amend or withdraw the Offer at any point during the Offer Period. In the case of amendment or withdrawal a notice will be posted at the top of these Terms. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, O2 reserves the right to substitute the Offer and/or the Subscription for an alternative of equal or greater value. In the event of any dispute the decision of O2 is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
O2 will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits ), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Offer or accepting or using the Subscription, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
O2’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters.
You do not have a right to change your mind in respect of digital products (which includes the Subscription) after you have started to download or stream these.
By participating in the Offer, all Participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms. These Terms prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry and claim instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms.
Data Protection: By participating in the Offer, Participants consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller and the use of their personal data for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the Participant has consented. Your personal details will at all times be kept in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here: o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/privacy-policy.
