1. Web Daily
Once all your tariff and Bolt On data allowances have been used, any data usage in our Europe Zone will be charged at Web Daily rates. This will happen automatically provided you have sufficient credit. You will be charged at a rate of £3 per MB until you have spent £1 on data usage. At this point, further usage of data for that day will be free subject to a fair usage of 50MB for the day.
Your Web Daily data allowance will not roll over from one day to another. For the avoidance of doubt, a day shall mean from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time on any given day.
In the event that you use the full 50MB Web Daily allowance, you can purchase the Web Daily Bolt On for £1 which gives you a further 50MB to use that day.
Web Daily allows you use of O2 UK's GPRS/Edge/3G/4G networks (as applicable to your handset and tariff and depending on your network coverage) and other mobile networks in our Europe Zone, and subject to the following excessive usage policy. All usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not use your SIM Card:
in, or connected to, any other device including modems; or
to allow the continuous streaming of any audio / video content, P2P or file sharing; or
in such a way that adversely impacts the service to other O2 customers; or
if O2 reasonably suspects you are not acting in accordance with this policy O2 reserves the right to impose standard charges (see o2.co.uk for details), impose network protection controls which may reduce your speed of transmission or disconnect your tariff for further data use until the following day.
Data usage is measured in kilobytes (KB), megabytes (MB) and gigabytes (GB). 1 megabyte (MB) = 1024 Kilobytes (KB). 1 gigabyte (GB) = 1024 megabytes (MB).
The prices mentioned above do not incorporate data roaming rates except for customers with the Ireland Bolt On. They will be charged Web Daily rates for data usage in the Republic of Ireland where they have an active Ireland Bolt On.
O2 reserves the right to amend these Terms or the excessive usage policy at any time. Our updated Terms/policy will be posted on our website so please check our website from time to time. If we increase charges for the elements of the Service you are using we will notify you by text message or by email (if you have registered your email address with us) before the changes become effective.
These Terms shall not apply to Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband or iPad services
2. Purchasing Additional Web Daily Bolt Ons

If you take a version of any of the above packages which provides access to 4G the following terms apply.
Access to our 4G services is only available on selected packages, ask in store or check on our website for more details.
The 4G package will only allow you to access our 4G services in the UK and in our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) where available.
We reserve the right to implement 4G speed caps in future. Any details will be listed on our website.
Our 4G services may be affected by the number of people using the 4G service, maintenance and upgrades, faults from other networks, the weather, other environmental factors or degradation.
You should check our coverage checker at o2.co.uk/coveragechecker before signing up to our 4G services. This is an indication and prediction of outdoor coverage, but coverage may vary depending on time and location. Data reception and speeds may not be as good indoors or in a car. Radio-based mobile technologies can also be affected by local factors including buildings, trees and even weather conditions. The coverage checker is a guide and does not guarantee signal coverage. Check for live network updates in affected areas at status.o2.co.uk/.
In order to access 4G services you will need a 4G ready phone, 4G services package, 4G sim card and you may need to do a software update on your phone if it does not have the software required to access 4G services. You must follow any instructions we send you about accessing our 4G network. Visit o2.co.uk/4g/setup for more details.
Once you have access to our 4G services, you will be able to access mobile internet data over our 4G network whenever you are in a 4G coverage area. When in our other mobile data network areas (for example Edge/GPRS/3G/HSPA areas) you will still be able to access non-4G data over these networks as usual.
Your data allowance (where applicable) will be used for all our different types of mobile data (for example Edge/GPRS/3G/HSPA areas) and will not differentiate between the types of mobile data you are using.
