BlackBerry Data Bolt On Terms & Conditions
Please note this Bolt On will no longer be available to existing customers to opt in to from 21 July 2021 onwards.
The BlackBerry Data Bolt On is only available to Pay As You Go customers with a compatible handset which are devices running the OS BB7.1 and below, who have an active BlackBerry service, and can't be used with mobile broadband or tethering.
The BlackBerry Data Bolt On comprises of (i) a 500MB data allowance (the “Data Allowance”) and (ii) internet access services via the BlackBerry APN (the “APN Services”)
A maximum of one Blackberry Bolt On can be added to your mobile at any one time.
You must have a GPRS handset and your SIM must be GPRS-enabled in order to use the Blackberry Bolt On.
The BlackBerry Data Bolt is valid on the day of purchase and for a month from the day after purchase.
The BlackBerry Data Bolt On is a recurring monthly service and once activated, the BlackBerry Data Bolt will apply on a recurring basis, provided you have sufficient funds, until you opt out in accordance with clause 9 of these terms. A one month minimum term applies.
Regardless of the country you're in, the BlackBerry Data Bolt will expire at 23:59 UK time on the day which is a month after the day you purchased it.
To opt in to the Blackberry Bolt On, send a free text message containing the keyword BBBOLTON (that’s B B B O L T O N) to 21300. Or call 2202 free from your O2 mobile.
To opt out of the BlackBerry Data Bolt On, send a free text message containing the keywords BBBOLTON OFF (that’s B B B O L T O N O F F) to 21300 at least 48 hours before the next payment is due. Alternatively, call free on 2202 from your O2 mobile.
We'll send you a text following your purchase, confirming the BlackBerry Data Bolt On is active.
We'll advise you via a text message if you use 450MB of the Data Allowance.
If you use the entire Data Allowance, we'll advise you via text that your BlackBerry Data Allowance has been used up. You'll then have the option to purchase another Bolt On.
Any unused Data Allowance will expire after each month and will not be carried over.
The Data Allowance can be used in our Europe Zone (which includes the UK).
The APN Services can only be used in the UK.
Your standard terms and conditions of service (including your tariff terms and your airtime agreement) will continue to apply when using the BlackBerry Data Bolt On.
The BlackBerry Bolt On is for your personal non-commercial use. If, in our reasonable opinion, you're using it for commercial purposes or contrary to your terms of service, we reserve the right to charge you or restrict your use.
We may vary or amend these terms, but if it's to your significant disadvantage we'll notify you.
We may remove or discontinue the Blackberry Data Bolt On at any time.
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the BlackBerry Bolt On, if you are, in our reasonable opinion, in breach of your terms of service.
