Our full 3G switch off will start from April 2025. Most of our customers already have a WiFi and 4G Calling compatible device and won’t need to take any action.

How to find your IMEI number

The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is a unique 15-digit code that precisely identifies your mobile phone.
Key *#06# into your phone keypad.
This will reveal a series of numbers, one of which is labelled IMEI.

Make a note of the first 8 digits of the number, in this example that would be:
35032003
You can also find your IMEI number in the settings on your phone.
Go to Settings > General > About. The IMEI number is listed in a section called PHYSICAL SIM. Make a note of the number or use the copy function on your phone.
Go to Settings > More > About device > Status. The IMEI number is listed along with other information about your phone. Make a note of the number or use the copy function on your phone, if it has this capability.
If you’re using an Apple Watch, open the ‘Watch’ app on the iPhone that’s paired with your Watch. Press ‘My Watch’ at the bottom of the screen, then press ‘General’ and ‘About’. You’ll find the IMEI on this page.
Alternatively, open the Settings app on your Watch and choose ‘General’, then ‘About’. If you have an Android smartwatch, like a Google Pixel Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch, the steps can vary. Typically, you’ll find it by swiping down from your watch’s home screen and looking for an ‘About’ option, but you may need to check your device’s user guide for specific instructions.
If you have an iPad, open the settings and choose ‘General’ then ‘About’. You’ll find the IMEI on this page.
If you have an Android tablet, open the Settings and then ‘About tablet’, ‘About device’ or ‘About phone’. Then choose ‘Status’ and ‘IMEI information’.

How to find your device make and model
Go to Settings > General > About. Your make and model number will be listed.
Go to Settings > About phone > model name. Your model will be listed.
