Activating your Pay Monthly sim
Your sim is ready to use as soon as you receive it. Just pop out the right size and put it in your device.
Remembering your mobile broadband number
Before you file away your paperwork, make a note of the mobile number for your device. You won’t remember it in the same way as you do your phone number. You’ll need this number if you’ve got a query about your account, to upgrade or if you need to cancel.
We recommend you register your account on My O2 as soon as you can – it’s the easiest place to check your data usage
Viewing your bill and checking your balance
My O2 is the quickest and easiest way to check your bill, your remaining balance and data usage.

If you’re already registered, visit My O2 to sign in. You can also download the My O2 app to your phone for free.
Requesting a paper bill
You can download and print a copy of your bill from My O2 for free. Alternatively, we can post a summary bill to you for £1, or and itmeised bill for £1.50.
