What it means for you

Why are the prices changing? 

This is a contractual term we must apply consistently in line with Ofcom's guidance. We also face increased costs associated with running our network and supporting our customers. These include rising energy costs plus the investment required to support the growing demand on our network.  

How much your rental charge changes by depends on your tariff and when your agreement started.

  2. Go to 'My Account'
  3. Go to 'Manage Contracts'
  4. Go to 'View contract dates and upgrade options'

  Small Biz tariffs

Small Biz Tariffs 

If you are a business customer on a Small Biz Tariff (Small Biz, Small Biz SIM Only, Small Biz data only, Mobile Broadband SIM Only or Business Essentials) and your Agreement started:  

  • Before 25th March 2021, your Rental Charges will increase by the RPI Rate of Inflation* announced every February. You will see the increase on your April bill onwards.  
  • Between 25th March 2021 and 08 January 2025, your Rental Charges will increase annually by the RPI Rate of Inflation* announced every February, plus 3.9%. You will see this increase on your April bill onwards. If the RPI Rate of Inflation is equal to or less than zero your Rental Charges will increase by 3.9% only.  
  • On or after 9th January 2025, your Rental Charges will increase annually by £1.50 (excl. VAT) every April bill.  

*RPI rate for 2024 was published on 14 February 2024 and was 4.9%​.

Business Tariffs  

If you are a business customer on a Business Tariff (Business, Business Sharer, Business SIM Only, Business Data Only, Best for Business Pay As You Use (PAYU), Mobex and any products, services and propositions that allows you to share minutes, texts or data): 

  • Your Rental Charges will increase by the RPI rate of inflation** announced every February. You will see this increase on your April bill onwards. We may increase our other prices from time to time. 

**RPI rate for 2024 was published on 14 February 2024 and was 4.9%​.
