Rolling plan Eligibility
To be on a Rolling plan as a new customer, and you will need to set up a recurring card payment authorisation in MyO2 by registering valid payment card details (see below for further terms and conditions about recurring card payment authorisation). Your activation date will be the date of your initial payment and any subsequent recurring card payments will be diarised from the date of activation. This automated recurring payment will not cover any out of allowance charges or additional services, which means you will need to top up your account manually in order to pay for them, if applicable'.
Existing Big Bundle customers may choose to switch to Rolling plan by setting up a recurring card payment authorisation in the MyO2 by registering valid payment card details. You will move from your current tariff allowance to your choice of Rolling plan immediately, and your initial payment will include a deduction for any Big Bundle allowance already used. If you already have a Rolling plan, you may choose to move to a Big Bundle Standard Plan using our online channels and this change will become effective immediately.
Recurring Card Payment Authorisation
On your monthly renewal date, we will attempt to deduct payment from your registered payment card and if successful, the Rolling plan will automatically renew on your monthly renewal date and you will receive your new inclusive monthly allowances. If we cannot take payment from the card registered to your account, your Rolling plan will not renew. We will send you a notification by both text message and email using the email address you used to register on MyO2. Until you renew your Rolling plan by updating your registered payment card details with one that can successfully make payment, any calls, text messages, data or additional services you use will be deducted from any top-up credit balance you have at standard rates. To renew your Rolling plan, you will need to update your card details in order to reactivate it and receive the benefits associated with it. If you do not start a new Rolling plan allowance within 30 days of an unsuccessful payment, you will be reverted to our £10 Big Bundle Standard Plan until you choose to switch back to Rolling plan as an existing customer in accordance with clause 4.
It is your responsibility to ensure your debit or credit card account has sufficient funds to pay for your Rolling plan and we shall not be responsible for any additional charges which may be imposed on you by your bank or card issuer.
You can cancel your recurring card payment authorisation by giving notice to us in accordance with our standard Pay As You Go Service Terms.
If your SIM remains unused for a continuous period of 6 months, your recurring card payment authorisation will be automatically cancelled and your SIM will be migrated to our £10 Big Bundle Standard Plan (until you choose to switch back to Rolling plan as an existing customer in accordance with clause 4).
We reserve the right to block or bar your SIM card if we have reasonable cause to suspect fraudulent use of a debit or credit card when setting up your recurring card payment authorisation.
If your SIM card is lost or stolen, it is your responsibility to cancel your recurring card payment authorisation and to notify us about the loss or theft as soon as possible. We will not be liable to refund you in respect of any Rolling plan that is affected as a result of loss or theft.
Data Rollover
Data rollover is available on £10, £15, £20 and £30 data Rolling plans only. On your monthly renewal date you can carry forward up to 100% of your standard monthly data allowance (“Roll Over Data”) into the following month’s data plan, subject to your total data bundle (Roll Over Data + standard monthly allowance) not exceeding 200% of your standard monthly data allowance at any one time. Any data that cannot be rolled over will expire. Roll Over Data will expire immediately if you fail to renew your Rolling plan on time or if you change tariffs.
Inclusive Minutes and Call Charges
Eligible calls made using your inclusive minutes allowance are counted by the minute not by the second and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Calls made outside your inclusive minutes allowance to landline and mobiles are charged by the minute, not by the second, and will be rounded up to the nearest minute. Each call charge is then rounded up to the next whole penny. Calls made outside your inclusive minutes allowance to voicemail are charged per call at the standard tariff rate.
Your inclusive monthly allowance includes calls made from our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to any destinations within our Europe Zone (which includes UK to UK calls). Any calls made from outside of our Europe Zone (which includes Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man) or, when in the UK to a destination outside of the UK, or, when in our Europe Zone (excluding the UK) to a destination outside of our Europe Zone, will be charged at standard roaming or international call rates (unless you've taken a service from us that gives you different international call rates). You can see our current international rates at o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/calling-abroad-standard-rates.
The £15, £20 and £30 data Rolling plans include international minutes to 42 countries. To see the list of countries/destinations included in these Rolling plans please see o2.co.uk/intsim. O2 may exclude from your inclusive minutes allowance any calls which we reasonably believe are being used for call forwarding services, onward calling services or numbers that pay a revenue share.
If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK minutes allowance, your inclusive minutes allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On minutes allowance. This does not apply to the More O2 Minutes and More Minutes Bolt Ons which will always be used before your inclusive minutes allowance.
Once you've used all your inclusive minutes allowance and any Bolt On minutes allowance you may have, any calls made in the UK to numbers which would previously have been included will be charged at the standard tariff rate.
Excluding the UK, any calls from one of the 42 countries listed to another of those 42 countries will not be covered in your inclusive minutes and will also be charged at the standard tariff rate. * Calls to O2 Customer Service on 4445 from your O2 mobile are free or you can call 0344 809 0222 from any other line. If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK texts allowance, your inclusive texts allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On texts allowance.
Once you've used all your inclusive texts allowance and any Bolt On texts allowance you may have, any UK texts sent to UK mobiles will be charged at the standard tariff rate.
Your inclusive texts allowance cannot be used for: * Texts sent to 08, 05 and 07 service numbers. Inclusive Data and Data Charges
Your inclusive monthly data allowance can be used in the UK and when roaming in our Europe Zone, up to 25GB. If your UK data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a roaming limit of 25GB when roaming in our Europe Zone. This means you can use up to 25GB of your allowance at no extra cost. We’ll text you if you’re getting close to the limit, and again if you reach it. You can still use data if you reach our roaming limit, but you’ll be charged. When using your phone whilst abroad outside of your inclusive monthly data allowance or outside of our Europe Zone, data will be charged at standard roaming rates. For details, visit o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-abroad
If you have a Bolt On which includes a UK data allowance, your inclusive data allowance will be used first followed by your Bolt On data allowance. This does not apply to the Web Daily Bolt On which will always be used before your inclusive data allowance.
After you've used your inclusive data allowance and any Bolt On data allowance you may have, you'll be charged at standard tariff rates when using data in the UK subject to a daily fair usage. See Pay As You Go Web Daily, Web Daily Bolt On, Monthly Data Bolt Ons, The Works One Off Bolt On and The Snack One Off Bolt On Terms and Conditions at o2.co.uk/terms for full details.
A day is based on from 00:00 to 23:59 UK time.
You can use O2 UK's 2G (GPRS and Edge), 3G and 4G data networks when using your inclusive data allowance.
In order to use our 4G data network, you will need a 4G enabled device with 4G coverage.
To use any of O2's data services, your mobile must be data compatible and enabled for the type of data network you want to access. Access to data services is subject to network coverage.
All data usage must be for your private, personal and non-commercial purposes.
